Year 3 workshop with early music duo "Flutes & Frets". This workshop was part of Brighton Early Music Festival's (BREMF),  education programme known as BREMF Live! A fabulous opportunity for the children to experience high-quality live music performed on authentic instruments.

Year 6 Tribal Drums workshops with Jim Bernardin from World Music Workshops - a brilliant afternoon of drumming pow-wows!

Orchestra visit to the Barbican Centre for a concert performed by the London Symphony Orchestra - such an inspiring day!

Year 2 Chinese drums & gongs workshops with Jim Bernardin from World Music Workshops. We had a lot of fun learning Chinese words for the instruments we played & investigating lots of different sounds!

 

 

 

 

 

 

May 2023

Year 4 Steel Pans Workshops, linking with our music topic exploring scales & melodies & our science topic investigating soundwaves & vibration. What a great time we had!

 

 

 

June 2023

Song Writers Clubs - visit to BIMM Brighton to record songs written during the summer term. We also had a tour of BIMM house & met fabulous singer / songwriter Darcey Hope, who was completely inspirational!
