Welcome to the Song Writers Club!!      

Song Writers Club is for children in years 3 - 6, for anyone who has ever tried to write a song or really wanted to & just didn't know where to start! With song writer leader Ricky Gallimore's close guidance & support children learn how to write & perform their own material using a variety of styles & song writing techniques.

Children are encouraged to bring along songs or ideas they have begun to put together for compositions & are welcome to bring an instrument to the sessions too!

Meet Ricky Gallimore - our Song Writers Club leader

"My name is Ricky Gallimore and I am a singer, a songwriter, a music producer and a music tutor. At heart, I am a songwriter and have been writing songs since I was 7 years old. I have a wealth of experience gigging in and around Brighton, writing and composing music and producing/mixing music. As well as this I have completed a BA (Hons) Professional Musicianship & Songwriting course (2009-2012) as well as an MA in Music and Sonic Media (2018-2020) at the University of Sussex. In addition to this, I have worked in music Further and Higher Education as Applicant Experience Manager at a leading music educational institute (British and Irish Modern Music Institute, 2015-2021)."
