Following almost 24 years of successful leadership, our current Headteacher is retiring and we are looking to fill the position for September 2024. This is an exciting time to lead our school. The successful candidate will have high expectations for all our pupils, driving forward academic excellence, and expertise to ensure that Westdene Primary School continues to thrive.

Lunchtime Supervisors
Our lunchtime supervisors help to ensure that children are safe and happy during the lunchtime period, and make the most of the opportunities for learning at this important point in the day. The lunchtime supervisory role is to supervise the children during their lunch break, both eating their lunch and outside at play, and assisting where necessary to ensure the safety of pupils in all areas inside or outside the school building. Like all of our staff, applicants need to be reliable and adaptable, with positive attitudes towards children. We would like to hear from people who are interested in joining our lunchtime team. Westdene Primary is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
